I LOVE this new Complete Feeding Set from Thinkbaby! Made from food-grade stainless steel and non-toxic, non-leaching polypropylene, these dishes and utensils have no BPA, phthalates, lead, pvc, or melamine. They are top-quality, very durable and extremely convenient.
I especially love the Bento Box, so I have included that as an item that you can purchase separately. Having *several* Bento Boxes on hand makes life a LOT easier. Not only is it totally leak-proof (thumbs up!) and therefore perfectly portable, but even the smallest children can snap it open and closed easily, which makes it perfect for sending it in a lunchbox. I use the Bento Box as well, it's not just for kids! Makes portion control super-easy if, like me, you are trying to cut down on mindless eating. Pack a healthy lunch for yourself in the morning, at noon you're ahead of the game.
I pack a lunch for my 3 year-old every day, even if he stays home. Whenever he gets hungry, he has a healthy lunch and snacks all ready to go (and he can serve himself from his lunchbox, which he LOVES). If we pop out to the playground or to go run an errand, we just take it along. No frantic searching for last-minute food options when he's about to go over the edge into a hungry meltdown, no desperate fast food runs. We save a ton of money and eat much better food. I plan ahead by buying favorite sandwich ingredients, cheese sticks, nuts, dried fruit, pretzels, apples, carrots, etc. at the beginning of each week and stocking up. Then it's just a matter of quickly assembling in the morning.
