BEFORE this bag, here's how my flights would go...
- Arrive at airport, take carseat out of car.
- Attach Carseat Travelmate.
- Take NON-compatible carseat bag out of trunk and throw it in carseat.
- Stop several times while wheeling carseat through airport to pick up bag, after it fell off the top of the carseat.
- Arrive at check-in counter line. Wrestle with getting huge Britax Marathon into small carseat bag while moving through line with luggage and kids.
- Upon arrival, remove bag again and wheel carseat out.
or like this, before I had a bag at all:
- Arrive at airport check-in counter. Beg for flimsy clear plastic carseat bag. Nine times out of ten, the agent says they are all gone.
- Carseat arrives trashed at destination. If a clear plastic bag *was* available, it arrives in shredded pieces, having only provided minimal protection before becoming yet another piece of worthless plastic trash for the landfill.
AFTER this bag, here's how my flights would go...
- Arrive at airport, take carseat out of car.
- Attach Carseat Travelmate.
- Insert wheeled carseat into bag.
- Easily wheel through airport.
- Arrive at check-in counter line. Retract handle, close flaps, and hand to agent.
- Upon arrival, pull up handle and go.
If you don't have a Carseat Travelmate, well...I pity you, poor thing ;-) But you will find this to be a wonderful protective bag for your carseat all the same.
