Only in a very large suitcase, it's long. But you can easily carry one in your hand, or tucked under one arm. It's very lightweight, only about 5 pounds.
- I use a small bungee cord to hold it shut and take it as a carry-on item, along with my waist pouch and a backpack with snacks and books and toys. I use it during the trip, in the airport, restaurants....all over the place, so it wouldn't be convenient to have it inside a bag, and it is so light and flat that it isn't a hassle to just carry it in my hand, or under one arm, or attached by bungee cord to a rolling suitcase.
