Adrian in his Travel Highchair, on our table at home

Julian had a Svan highchair, but it was kind of a pain. Hard to assemble, not easy or intuitive to adjust, and the screws were always falling out. The tray tilted downwards at a dramtaic angle. It looked cool, but was not practical. Bad design. It's finally been banished to a corner of the kitchen. I mostly keep it around for Adrian to pull up on.

Julian now has a Stokke Tripp Trapp, and sits at the kitchen table.

Adrian sits at the kitchen table too, in his meToo! Travel Highchair.

I don't think he really needs a traditional highchair. It is a slight drag having to wipe down the kitchen table instead of washing a detachable highchair tray in the sink, but apart from that, it's fine.

I think I'll just keep him in the Travel Highchair until he's ready to get in and out of his seat by himself, at which point I'll buy another Stokke Tripp Trapp.

Oh, here's what the Tripp Trapp looks like.

No, I don't sell the Tripp Trapp. I just like it.
